BuildTrust Design operates this marketing website at design.buildtrust.cc. We provide website design and redesign services.
We are related to BuildTrust, a separate SEO software platform at buildtrust.cc. This policy covers the Website only. If you use the BuildTrust software product, see the BuildTrust platform Privacy Policy.

When you submit our contact form or book a call, we may collect:

Providing this information is voluntary, but we cannot respond to your inquiry without the required fields.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the Website, our hosting and security providers may automatically process:

- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited, referring URL, and request timestamps
- Basic technical data needed to deliver the site securely
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking on this Website. We do not currently use Google Analytics or similar analytics tools on design.buildtrust.cc.

5. International data transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms for transfers from the EU, UK, or other regions with transfer restrictions.
6. How long we keep information
- Contact and booking inquiries: kept for up to 24 months after we last communicate with you, unless a longer period is needed to resolve a dispute or meet legal obligations.
- Backup copies in Cloudflare KV: retained until manually deleted or overwritten as part of normal operations.
- Server and security logs: retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention periods, typically up to 12 months.
- Records required by law: retained for as long as applicable law requires (for example, certain financial records).
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our systems, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law (for example, within 72 hours under GDPR where applicable).

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any right, email privacy@buildtrust.cc. We will verify your request and respond within 30 days (45 days for CCPA requests where permitted). If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
In the preceding 12 months we collected the categories of personal information listed in Section 2 for the business purposes in Section 3. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. To submit a request, email privacy@buildtrust.cc with "CCPA Request" in the subject line.
South African residents (POPIA)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, and object to processing for direct marketing. Contact our Information Officer at privacy@buildtrust.cc. You may also complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
9. Cookies and similar technologies
This Website uses only essential technical mechanisms needed to deliver pages securely. We do not set optional analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies on design.buildtrust.cc. If we add non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required before placing them.
10. Links to other websites
The Website links to third-party sites including social networks, buildtrust.cc, and external resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before providing personal information.
11. Children's privacy
The Website is intended for business users and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@buildtrust.cc and we will delete it.
