Website Redesign · Website Design · Brand Identity

3 months Time frame

Auric Health is a provider network concept where patients search by specialty, insurance acceptance, and location, then evaluate credentials, wait times, and booking options before calling or scheduling online. Healthcare sites lose patients when find-a-provider is buried, service pages use wellness fluff instead of clinical clarity, and basic questions about insurance and wait times force call-centre volume. Accessibility and plain-language requirements add another layer beyond generic medical templates that fail public sector standards.

Challenges & approach

Problem

Patients search specialty, location, and insurance first. When provider search is buried and service pages lack clinical clarity, call centres field preventable questions about booking, coverage, and what to expect. Generic medical templates fail accessibility and plain-language standards required for public healthcare information.

Solution

Provider search, specialties, and locations are primary homepage paths. Service pages explain what to expect, clinician credentials, and how to book, reducing unnecessary phone traffic. UX defined for provider directory and booking tool integration.

What we focused on

Search-first provider discovery

Find-a-provider, specialties, and locations are primary homepage paths instead of secondary menu items. Patients reach the right clinician without calling for basic routing help.

Clinical clarity on service pages

Each specialty explains what to expect, credentials, and booking steps in plain language. Wellness fluff replaced with answers that reduce call-centre volume on common questions.

Insurance and wait time signals

Coverage acceptance and wait time framing appear where patients evaluate fit before booking. Transparency reduces abandoned calls from patients who assumed incompatible insurance.

Accessible UX foundations

Heading order, contrast, and form design defined for WCAG-aligned development. Healthcare information must work for screen readers and keyboard users as well as visual browsing.

Booking tool integration architecture

Provider directory and scheduling UX defined for connection to booking systems in full build. Patient paths ready for live availability without redesigning discovery flow.

Process

This concept defined provider discovery UX, service page templates, and accessibility requirements before directory integration.

Discovery

We mapped patient search behaviour by specialty, location, and insurance, and the questions that currently drive unnecessary call-centre volume.

Customer and competitor research

Provider networks that convert patients lead with search-first discovery and plain-language service pages. Auric was benchmarked against that healthcare evaluation pattern.

Information architecture and messaging

Homepage prioritises find-a-provider, specialties, and locations. Service copy uses clinical clarity and plain English instead of wellness marketing language.

UX design and conversion journey

Wireframes tested provider search and service page scan paths on mobile. Booking CTAs placed after credentials and what-to-expect content on each specialty page.

Search/local visibility foundations

Specialty and location pages target healthcare search queries patients use when choosing providers. Structure supports local and condition-specific discovery.

Launch tracking optimisation

Concept defines booking and call deflection tracking for full build. Measurement plan covers online scheduling versus phone contact post directory integration.

What this approach is designed to improve

Search

First provider discovery

Specialty, location, and insurance paths are primary, not buried in secondary navigation.

Self

Serve service info

Service pages answer booking questions that currently hit the call centre on first contact.

Plain

Language clinical copy

Specialty pages use accessible plain English instead of wellness fluff that obscures care detail.

Ready

For directory integration

UX defined for provider search and booking tool connection in the next build phase.
