Wine estate concept built for tasting bookings
Concept project created to demonstrate BuildTrust Design's approach to hospitality businesses.
About project
Website Design · Brand Identity
Casa Aurelia is a wine estate and hospitality concept where visitors research appellation, vintage story, tasting experiences, and trade distribution before booking a visit or requesting wholesale terms. Wine and hospitality buyers choose estates on provenance, awards, and visit experience, not label photography alone. Consumer visitors, event bookers, and trade buyers need separate paths with clear next steps. Mixing them on one contact page creates confusion and lost bookings across all three audiences.
Challenges & approach
Problem
Estate sites that combine tasting, events, and trade on one contact page lose qualified enquiries from all three audiences. Generic hospitality photography without provenance detail fails the research checklist wine buyers use before visiting or stocking. Event bookers and trade buyers abandon when they cannot find terms, capacity, or distribution information without emailing the estate.
Solution
Estate story and winemaking proof support the visit decision. Tasting bookings, private events, and trade enquiry each have dedicated routes. Content structure ready for hospitality CMS and booking integration.
What we focused on
Three audience enquiry routes
Tasting, private events, and trade each get dedicated paths from homepage and estate story pages. Mixed contact pages no longer force all visitor types through one generic form.
Provenance and awards proof
Appellation, winemaking, and awards appear where visitors evaluate why visit or stock. Heritage detail precedes generic hospitality imagery on key landing pages.
Tasting and event booking clarity
Experience detail, capacity signals, and booking steps explained before form submission. Visitors understand what they reserve before sharing contact detail.
Trade and wholesale path
Distribution and wholesale enquiry separated from consumer tasting flows. Trade buyers find terms and contact without navigating consumer-focused visit content.
Hospitality CMS-ready structure
Content modules defined for estate story, vintages, experiences, and enquiry routing. Structure ready for booking tool integration in full build.
Process
This concept defined hospitality page structure, audience routing, and brand content before a full estate site build.
Discovery
We mapped three visitor types, consumer visitors, event bookers, and trade buyers, and what each needs before contacting the estate.
Customer and competitor research
Wine estates that convert visits lead with provenance and separated enquiry paths. Casa Aurelia was benchmarked against that hospitality evaluation pattern.
Information architecture and messaging
Tasting, events, and trade enquiry got separate entry paths from homepage and estate story. Copy uses wine and hospitality buyer language around provenance and experience.
UX design and conversion journey
Wireframes placed estate proof before booking CTAs for each audience. Forms capture visit type, party size, or trade region for appropriate follow-up.
Search/local visibility foundations
Estate and experience pages target wine tourism and tasting queries in the region. Structure supports how visitors search when planning estate visits.
Launch tracking optimisation
Concept defines enquiry tracking by audience type for full build. Measurement plan covers tasting versus trade completion rates post-launch.
