Dental site built for high-intent consultation bookings
About project
Website Redesign · Website Design · Brand Identity
Lumin Dental Arts is a premium cosmetic and esthetic practice where patients research specific procedures such as veneers, implants, whitening, and Invisalign before booking a consultation. They compare credentials, read reviews, and decide in minutes whether a practice feels premium enough to trust. Cosmetic dentistry sits between healthcare and luxury retail. Patients search high-intent procedure terms, study before-and-after proof, and abandon template clinic sites that bury services or hide mobile booking behind generic family-dentist copy.
Challenges & approach
Problem
Cosmetic dental patients follow a fast trust arc on mobile: procedure search, credentials, proof, then booking. Template sites bury services, lack procedure-specific pages, and offer no clear mobile booking path. Anxious patients book competitors who answer their exact treatment question faster. Local search competition for terms like porcelain veneers and cosmetic consult rewards practices with structured service pages and proof placement where trust forms.
Solution
We rebuilt around the patient research arc with scannable services on mobile, dedicated pages for high-intent procedures, credentials and before-and-after proof where trust forms, and one consultation booking path. Local SEO and page structure target procedure-specific queries rather than generic family dentist positioning.
What we focused on
Procedure-specific service pages
Dedicated pages for veneers, implants, whitening, and aligners match high-intent searches. Each page answers clinical scope, candidacy signals, and what the consultation covers before a patient commits time.
Mobile-first booking path
Services and booking sit where anxious patients look on phone, not three clicks deep. Sticky consultation actions and simplified forms reduce drop-off between Google search and booked appointment.
Trust and credentials placement
Qualifications, affiliations, and before-and-after proof appear where premium patients evaluate safety and aesthetics. Proof precedes promotional copy so the practice reads clinical and premium, not discount-led.
Local search structure
Page titles, headings, and schema support cosmetic and procedure queries near the practice. Structure targets how patients search when comparing premium clinics in the local map pack.
Consultation pre-qualification
One primary booking flow captures treatment interest and contact detail so front desk teams route enquiries to the right clinician with context instead of generic callback requests.
Process
We mapped the patient journey from Google search to booked consultation, then rebuilt page structure, local SEO targets, and the booking flow before visual design.
Discovery
We reviewed how new patients found the practice and where the old site lost trust through weak proof, template imagery, and no clear next step on mobile during the first visit.
Customer and competitor research
Local premium clinics that convert well lead with services, credentials, and one booking action. We mapped that pattern against Lumin's offer and the questions patients ask before booking cosmetic care.
Information architecture and messaging
Service pages were built for high-intent searches. The homepage answers who Lumin is for, what they specialise in, and how to book, in that order, without generic dental marketing language.
UX design and conversion journey
Wireframes prioritised procedure clarity and one booking action per page. Forms were shortened for mobile completion while capturing enough detail for the reception team to schedule appropriately.
Search/local visibility foundations
Procedure pages, local landing structure, and meta targets support cosmetic consult and treatment queries. Pages answer comparison-stage questions patients use when shortlisting premium practices.
Launch tracking optimisation
Booking paths were configured for tracking by procedure and source. Launch included measurement setup to see which treatments drive consultation requests from organic and paid traffic.
What this approach is designed to improve

Local
Search structure
Service pages target high-intent queries like cosmetic consult and veneers near the practice.

Primary booking action
One clear consultation path replaces buried contact forms and competing generic CTAs.
Proof
At trust point
Credentials and before-and-after work appear where premium patients decide whether to book.
